have you considered making plants hideable? i love having the dino as something to watch while i work, but the clutter of the plants takes up too much screenspace for me
Hi. Um all... everything at the bottom of my screen is a purple box. I can click on them and see what they are ie: 'plant' but other than that I think it is broken.

Hello Soggymilk, it's really weird, dinosaurs and plants are using a custom shader to being able to change colors dynamically, you computer seems to don't process correctly.
But you're the first one raising this issue. Your graphic driver are up to date ? It may cause this type of issue.
Device Manager confirms that drivers are up to date. Intel HD Graphics driver version 9.17.10.4459. Intel driver and support assistant also confirms that no updates are available. Thanks so much for responding so fast!
Is it possible to have an option to have the objects be click-through? Once I have it set up Id like to go about my business without accidentally clicking on leaves

When I name my dinosaur, he immediately falls asleep because his energy bar drops to 0. if i save and exit then, then load the game again, he's not sleeping but he's just standing there and frozen. this doesn't happen if i don't name a dinosaur.
Hello! I love desktop dinos and am so glad that I purchased it. The animations are really cute and well done! It makes me happy seeing them sit at the bottom of my screen :)
I have unfortunately run into a bug though, where my dino is frozen -- this happened after I switched the program between my monitors a couple times. Wait times for the eggs have frozen as well. I have even replaced them with new eggs and their metres are not going up. I tried deleting the game and reinstalling but my save file keeps loading in, so I can't reset. Is there a way to reset it?
Again, love the game -- it's the perfect amount of simple and entertaining for a desktop pet, and I know there's still some bugs to work out with the new update! I can't wait to see what gets added to it in the future. Thanks for your hard work. :)
Hey, I'm getting the same issue with my dinos freezing, even if I buy new ones and they hatch, when swapping the app between screens. Mentioning that on one screen I have my taskbar vertical (main screen) and on the 2nd screen it's horizontal. Maybe that's related somehow
I don't know if I'm missing something really obvious but I'm on version 1.2 and there doesn't seem to be a shop... I've only hatched one egg - the starter stego so I don't know if it will open after that but people have talked about a dollar sign which I definitely can't see at the moment Lol thanks in advance sorry
There's a little white tab that should be on the right side of your monitor; if you click it, the + is the shop and the $ lets you sell your items&dinos. If you have it open on a second monitor it might be cutting off the tab (mine did) so you could try switching or resizing your screen. :)
The Triceratops and stego number issue I got as well. My Green/green stego egg hatched into a green/orange (default) triceratops baby. I sold it, and tried to hatch another one, with blue/yellow stego. It hatched again to default color triceratops (green/orange).
Cute little toy, but desperately needs some overlay settings. Like, I don't want it above active windows, or fullscreen videos. Prefer it right on the desktop.
Edit: The app also introduces a noticeable bit of cursor lag, even when hidden. A bit of a shame.
I've noticed when I exit and reopen the game, all the plants I've sold come back and then I can sell them again and get infinate money, and it happens again and again, I just want to get rid of some plant clutter haha XD help!
Could you persist the game periodically? I *believe* the game persists only on exit so on power loss or ungraceful exit (forced restart), for instance, we lose progress. Saving every few minutes would be enough IMHO.
Support vertical taskbars (by which I mean, let the dino rest on the bottom of the monitor/desktop).
Could you make a Linux, or Mac version for it, even if those versions are not on the desktop. But, doing this might be hard depending on the engine/coding method you are using. If you can, that would be great! Thanks.
And having notifications be on top of the game would be nice! It's a bit hard to see with the game being on top of everything. Maybe even adding an option for the game to be only on top of the desktop would be nice so we can still get to play with everything closed but don't get distracted with work hehe
Also giving icons an outline would be great, that way we'd be able to see if they're on top of white surfaces
And not quite sure what the $ button is for. It closes other windows but can't seem to see what it does

Love the newest version!!! Theres an issue with the sell feature though. After deselecting it, occasionally I can't select any other menu options or I can click on my stegos to see their names.
Also for quality of life, an easier way to distinguish which dino or object is being clicked (or being able to click a dino while they're sleeping) would be nice too.
Hi, I don't know if it ever came up, but the game is invisible for someone who keeps their taskbar on the side, instead than on the bottom of the screen. Still, it works just fine the momenti i place it back at the bottom, just wanted to let you know. Its a wonderfully nice game!

Can you add an undo sell button. I accidently sold a dino D=
For some reason, I stopped getting coins and when I buy something with those coins they do not appear I had to restart my game.
Hello penguineater, I will check it may be the interface not refreshing, but coin are correctly added this is way you count is good after restarting.

another thing i noticed is that when my dinosaur fell asleep abnormally, he disappeared below my taskbar. when he sleeps normally he sleeps on it.

To reset your saves, you can find it here : C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\LocalLow\HarmonieGames\Desktop Dinosaurs
Just delete the dinosaurs files, it should be enought and you will not loose your money.

i'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but when the game is hidden, the menu can't be retracted, but other than that, the update is really cool :)
I just found that it's working if the game is hidden from the notification area !

To clarify, I deselected the sell button by clicking it again. Hitting the arrow doesn't cause this to happen though!
